REMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit provides a forum to identify and promote the best possible pedagogy, techniques and tools by faculty for online and blended learning and to help faculty design the most engaging experience for learners. Hosted by Arizona State University, REMOTE is an independent conference supported by the ASU Foundation.

Sophia is an eLearning Technologist at Colorado Community Colleges Online (CCCOnline) in Aurora, CO. Additionally, she often freelances on course and program designs, including partnering with Online Program Management services.

Sophia's experience spans health communications research, small business grants, faculty development, public and private university education, and community college course developments. Her collaborations often include Instructional Designers and course instructors working together to develop student-centered course designs with interactive development. Her work is influenced heavily by trends in eLearning, pedagogy, student populations, and program influences. Through all of this Sophia advocates for inclusive and learner-centered courses and event designs.
