Dr. Farai C. Gombedza is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry in the Chemistry and Physics Department at Purdue University Northwest. Dr. Gombedza joined Purdue University in the fall of 2019 after completing a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. He earned his MS and PhD in Chemistry at the University of Akron. His research interests include elucidating cellular signaling events in lung and kidney diseases and innovation in chemical education.
